Kent Beck – My market doesn’t seem to allocate capital where it can be most productive

For the first time in 27 years I was faced with a situation where I could create more value at no cost to myself and I turned it down. I deliberately chose to create less value for fewer people. I’m not sure what I was trying to accomplish by saying this. I guess I hoped that the talk would be so good that they would pay me to repeat it.
